Isaac Lazaro Killed, Tito Perez’s Residence Damaged in Collision on Browning Avenue Near Iroquois
TUSTIN, CA (January 27, 2020) — A driver died Saturday when his vehicle plowed into a home in the 13000 block of Iroquois near Browning Avenue.
According to Tustin Police Lt. Andrew Birozy, the incident happened around 2:24 a.m. Arriving authorities found a man and a teen inside a Toyota Camry that had crashed into a home moments prior.
Paramedics pronounced 20-year-old Isaac Hernandez Lazaro, of Tustin, dead at the scene. They learned that his seatbelt had not been used at the time of the accident.
In their investigation, authorities determined that Lazaro was traveling eastbound on San Juan Street at a high rate of speed. The car subsequently drove onto Browning Avenue before it crashed into a cinder block wall and into the home of Tito Perez.
Perez’s daughter reportedly had visitors over for a sleepover, but all escaped major injury from the flying debris.

Authorities are looking into whether impairment played a part in the accident.
