Injury Reported in Multi-Car Collision on Interstate 10 [Beaumont, CA]

Beaumont, CA (April 28, 2022) On Thursday, the driver of an SUV sustained injuries in a multi-car collision on Interstate 10.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that the crash happened at around 8 a.m. near the Beaumont Avenue offramp.

Reports say that an Infinity SUV, a Rav-4, and a westbound big rig collided at the offramp.

Witnesses reported that vehicles clipped the SUV and thus causing the crash.

Furthermore, the semi overturned and ended up on its side, and at least one vehicle crossed the center divider.

Consequently, the collision caused delays in the eastbound I-10 traffic.

Paramedics say that the SUV driver sustained injuries to his arm. No other injuries were reported.

Officials diverted westbound I-10 traffic to North Highland Springs. The crash caused traffic congestion up until 9 a.m.
