Motorist Injured in Tracy DUI Hit-and-Run Crash

Tracy, CA (March 11, 2022) On Thursday, a motorist was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Holly Drive.

Tracy Police says that a crash was reported on the Holly Drive overpass.

According to reports, a car collided with the back of another vehicle and fled the scene after the crash.

Authorities say that the other motorist in the struck vehicle had minor injuries.

Meanwhile, a Tracy police sergeant noticed the hood sticking up on a vehicle and pulled the driver over.

Police say that the driver has been driving impaired. Moreover, police say the driver’s blood-alcohol level was four times the legal limit.

The perverse actions of a reckless driver can increase the likelihood of traffic collisions.

Afterward, officials took the suspect to the hospital to be checked out.

Then, police booked the DUI driver into San Joaquin County Jail.

This is a powerful reminder to always pay close attention to drivers around you. Constantly keep a considerable distance from others just in case harm is near.

Ultimately, defensive driving can lessen the chance of serious San Diego road accidents.
