Frightening 2-Vehicle Crash on Bell Street Injures 2 People [Amarillo, TX]

Amarillo, TX (May 4, 2024) On Thursday evening, a 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman riding a motorcycle were hurt and hospitalized after a 2-vehicle crash on Bell Street.

According to the Amarillo Police Department, the 2-vehicle collision happened at about 8:45 p.m. at Bell Street and Erik Avenue.

Reports say that the collision involved a northbound Kawasaki motorcycle and a northbound Mustang.

Officials say that the Mustang, driven by a 17-year-old male, was turning west into a private parking lot when the motorcycle collided with the vehicle.

Both riders suffered life-threatening injuries and were rushed to the hospital.

The APD Traffic Investigation Squad is conducting the investigation.
