TULARE, CA (November 10, 2022) – Wednesday morning, authorities reported injuries following a crash on Highway 99 and Bardsley Avenue.
The incident happened on Highway 99 and Bardsley Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Greyhound bus struck a Freightliner truck towing two other tractors for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the bus to strike and drove through the guardrail that separates northbound and southbound lanes.
Moreover, officers confirmed that a total of 23 people were aboard the bus at the time of the incident. Then, paramedics transported two people to a hospital with unknown injuries. Also, several passengers of the bus sustained minor injuries in the collision.
Furthermore, authorities requested a second Greyhound bus at the scene to help the stranded passengers.
Meanwhile, the incident remained under active investigation.
