2 Injured in Visalia Incident near Walnut Avenue and McAuliff Street

 
VISALIA, CA (October 13, 2020) – Sunday night, authorities arrested Brett Eymard after an injury crash near Walnut Avenue and McAuliff Street.
 
According to a witness, Brett Eymard drove a southbound and ran a stop sign. Then, he struck a westbound Honda SUV on Walnut Avenue. The force of the crash pushed the Honda to collide with a Dodge truck. According to reports, the Dodge waited to make a turn from Walnut to McAuliff when the incident happened.
 
Authorities received the report at around 6:40 p.m.
 
Brett Eymard, the sole occupant of the minivan, who sustained minor injuries was arrested after evaluation, on suspicion of driving under the influence.
 
The Dodge driver sustained no injuries, said the police.
 
According to Sgt. Mona Whaley, both the driver and a young passenger of the Honda were rushed to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment after sustaining unknown injuries.
 
Authorities booked Eymard to South County Detention Facility with a bail of $100,000, after being medically cleared.
