Injuries Reported in Alarming Hit-and-Run Crash on Central Avenue and Clovis Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Lanes Blocked in Fresno Auto Accident on Central Avenue and Clovis Avenue

FRESNO, CA (January 26, 2024) – Wednesday night, an alarming hit-and-run crash on Central Avenue and Clovis Avenue led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. on Central Avenue just east of Clovis Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a westbound vehicle crossed towards the eastbound lanes and collided with a Ford F-150 and a Volvo SUV. Then, the suspect vehicle fled the scene of the crash without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that two occupants of the Volvo complained of pain but were not transported to a hospital.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
