Ignacio Diaz Booked Into Jail Following Hit-and-Run Crash With Officer at East Brundage Lane and Cottonwood Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 21, 2019) – A 27-year-old man turned himself in following a hit-and-run crash on East Brundage Lane and Cottonwood Road.
According to police officials, the 10:30 p.m. accident involved a police car and an SUV.
The unidentified officer suffered injuries after his vehicle was hit by the SUV driver. The driver subsequently took off from the scene and failed to render aid.
Days later, Ignacio Diaz turned himself into the Kern County jail. Officials booked the 27-year-old on a warrant for a felony hit-and-run.
