Homeless Woman Dead in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Katy Freeway and Silber Road

HOUSTON, TX (December 19, 2023) – Friday night, authorities arrested Hunter Cameron Villasana after a horrific pedestrian crash on Katy Freeway and Silber Road.

The crash occurred at around 11:25 p.m. on the I-10 Katy Freeway service road at Silber Road.

Then, the authorities arrested the 17-year-old driver with charges of intoxication manslaughter for the deadly crash.

Reports said that the teen was driving down the service road and tried to turn northbound onto Silber Road at an unsafe speed.

Then, the car hit a curb, hit the woman sleeping on the median, and then hit the wall.

After the crash, the teen driver tried to escape, but workers at a nearby Jack in the Box held him for officers.

Moreover, the woman was declared dead at the scene. Her identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
