SAN DIEGO, CA (January 23, 2024) – Sunday night, a horrific single-vehicle crash on State Route 15 and Interstate 805 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. near State Route 15 and Interstate 805.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound vehicle lost control for still unknown reasons and crashed down an embankment.

Moreover, responders pronounced one person, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported one patient to a hospital with unknown injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
