2 Dead in Laredo Rollover Accident near Loop 20 and International Boulevard

LAREDO, TX (January 30, 2024) – Early Monday morning, 2 Texas National Guard members died in a horrific single-vehicle crash near Loop 200.

The incident happened at about 1:30 a.m. near Loop 20 and International Boulevard.

Laredo Police revealed that the impact ejected a 27-year-old passenger from the Ford F-150. Then, a 21-year-old driver tried to perform CPR immediately after but failed to revive him.

Then, eyewitnesses revealed that the driver took his own life at the scene.

Laredo Police added that the 21-year-old driver died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identities of the deceased due to pending family notification.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
