1 Dead in El Paso Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 10 and Lee Trevino

EL PASO, TX (March 24, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a horrific multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 and Lee Trevino killed 1 person.

The incident involving multiple cars occurred at the Lee Trevino on-ramp of Interstate-10 heading eastbound just after 4:30 p.m.

Officers confirmed that one person died while another person was taken to a nearby hospital.

Also, reports added that the incident involved a total of five vehicles.

“We got here too late to the accident but we did talk to him and he told us that then he wasn’t really sure exactly what happened [in the] split second this accident happened,” the relative said. “Several cars hit him and he was kind of just [in]shock to the whole thing.”

Also, the Texas Department of Transportation shut down all eastbound lanes until further notice.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
