SCHERTZ, TX (October 1, 2024) – Sunday night, a horrific motorcycle crash on FM 1518 and Schaefer Road killed two people.

The incident happened at around 11:22 p.m. on FM 1518 and Schaefer Road.

According to reports, a motorcycle and a bicyclist collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Officers confirmed that the bicyclist and the driver of the motorcycle died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported a passenger of the motorcycle to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.
