1 Hospitalized after Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on Avenue 51

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 31, 2020) – A person sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Avenue 51 on January 25.
 
Police are asking the public’s help to look for the hit-and-run driver. The incident happened around 1:05 a.m., while the pedestrian walked across Avenue, just south of Eaton Street.
 
Reports later identified the vehicle that escaped as a gray Ford Mustang.
 
Paramedics immediately transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital for further treatment. However, there has been no update on their condition at this time.
 
Meanwhile, Los Angeles offered a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the driver’s arrest, conviction or civil resolution as part of its Hit and Run Reward Program Trust Fund.
 
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact LAPD’s Central Division traffic detectives at 213-833-3713. Tipsters can also contact the LAPD’s 24-hour tipline at 877-527-3247 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
