Driver Flees Hit-and-Run Accident in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 11, 2020)—Investigators are seeking a hit-and-run driver who crashed into a traffic light pole on South 43rd Street near the 805 Freeway Sunday.
Police responded to reports of a crash around 3:30 a.m. They found a Dodge Challenger. The vehicle had plowed into a traffic light pole, taking it down.
It appears the driver lost control of the vehicle near the 805 Freeway ramp in Legacy Walk for unknown reasons.
When authorities tried saving the occupants inside, they found no one at the scene.
Now, authorities are exploring the whereabouts of the driver who abandoned the scene. Anyone with insight should contact local authorities.
