1 Person Dead in MoVal Pedestrian Accident on Old Interstate 215 Frontage Road and Bay Avenue

MOVAL, CA (December 6, 2023) – Tuesday night, a horrific hit-and-run crash on Old Interstate 215 Frontage Road and Bay Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Old Interstate 215 Frontage Road and Bay Avenue.

According to Sgt. Marcos Acosta, a northbound vehicle struck a pedestrian who was southbound on Frontage Road. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed to the scene and performed life-saving measures on the victim, but to no avail. Paramedics pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
