Hit-and-Run Accident on 10 Freeway Injures LAPD Officer [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (May 12, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, a hit-and-run accident on 10 Freeway sent an LAPD motorcycle officer to the hospital.

Police say that the hit-and-run collision happened around 3:20 p.m. on the transition road from the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway to the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway.

Authorities say that a southbound Tesla struck the officer, the fled the scene, heading south in the 110 Freeway.

Paramedics transported the officer to a hospital, the officers condition remains unknown.

LAPD is searching for the suspect driver and vehicle and has not released further information at this time.
