Santa Clarita, CA (January 31, 2023) On Sunday evening, 2 drivers suffered injuries after a 2-car crash on the southbound lanes of Highway 14.

CHP says that the 2-vehicle collision happened at about 9:26 p.m. near Placerita Canyon.

Authorities say that a Volkswagen Jetta travelling at high-speed collided with a Toyota Corolla. The collision caused the Toyota with major front-end damage, the Jetta was found with major damage on the right shoulder.

Paramedics say that 2 patients sustained injuries and medical personnel transported both individuals to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. Moreover, CHP officers arrested one person in connection to the crash.
