HESPERIA, CA – Pedestrian Injured in Accident on Santa Fe Avenue

Pedestrian Airlifted to Hospital Following near Olive Street in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (February 28, 2019) – An unidentified pedestrian was struck and injured Wednesday afternoon, in an accident on Santa Fe Avenue.
 
Authorities received dispatch calls about the collision around 1:22 p.m. It was originally unclear how the crash happened or who was at fault; nonetheless, first responders arrived to the scene near Olive Street soon after.
 
The victim was found suffering from multiple injuries upon medics arrival. A county helicopter was also called to the scene to airlift the victim to a nearby hospital. Sheriff’s deputies had to shut down the roadway in order for the helicopter to land.
 
State Officials say the patient was brought to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for immediate treatment. His current condition is unknown at this time. No further details have been made available.
