HEMET, CA – Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Domenigoni Parkway Near Warren Road

Person Dies in Hemet Pedestrian Collision

 
HEMET, CA (November 30, 2018) – A pedestrian’s life was cut short Wednesday evening after being struck by a vehicle on Domenigoni Parkway near Warren Road.
 
The incident happened around 5 p.m. when City of Hemet Police and Fire Departments, along with the California Highway Patrol, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and other crews were dispatched to the scene. A pedestrian was found lying in the lanes of traffic with serious injuries and a light-colored Chevy Cruze was stopped about a hundred yards from where the body was.
 
According to reports, the vehicle sustained significant windshield and hood damage. The victim, who remains unidentified, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
 
It is unclear what led to the crash, but Hemet Police Cpt. Glen Brock did note that the pedestrian was possibly running southbound across Domenigoni Parkway when the incident happened.
 
More on this crash is under investigation by authorities.
