Sterling City, TX (December 3, 2023) On Wednesday afternoon, a helicopter crash in Sterling City left 2 people dead.

According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the helicopter accident happened around 4 p.m. The exact location of the crash is not immediately known, but, officials say that the helicopter was heading southwest of Abilene.

Officials say that 2 people were killed after the helicopter (600N model craft from MD Helicopters Inc. (N745MB)) crashed.
