MARTINEZ, CA (April 22, 2019) – A man died Friday in a head-on collision at Alhambra Avenue and Alhambra Valley Road.
 
According to reports, officers responded to the 2:38 p.m. crash to find a 60-year-old man deceased behind the wheel.
 
The driver of the other vehicle, described as a 64-year-old woman, was brought to John Muir Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Reports failed to specify what caused the head-on collision, but police say neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be factors.
