Gurr Road Head-On Collision Kills 22-Year-Old Woman [Merced County, CA]

Merced County, CA (January 20, 2023) On Thursday morning, a 22-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries after a head-on collision on Gurr Road.

The CHP says the fatal crash South of Shippee Road, at about 10:30 a.m. Moreover, officials say that another driver suffered injuries due to the deadly collision.

Reports say that the woman was on a Toyota Corolla that veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a Chevy Silverado.

Authorities pronounced the woman dead at the scene, officials says she was not wearing seatbeal at the time of the crash.

Meanwhile, the Chevy driver sustained minor injuries. Furthermore, the male driver did not leave the scene and was cooperating with officers.

CHP is investigating the fatal crash and havenot released additional information at this time.
