Guadalupe Tijerina Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on State Route 41 and Road 406 [Madera, CA]

MADERA, CA (May 18, 2022) – Monday afternoon, Guadalupe Tijerina suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 41 and Road 406.
 
The incident happened at about 5:50 p.m. on State Route 41, north of Road 406. According to reports, Guadalupe Tijerina traveled south at an unknown speed. Then, she drove across the double yellow lines into the northbound lane and crashed with an oncoming truck.
 
Afterward, Tijerina’s car spun out and crashed into a rock embankment east of Highway 41.
 
As a result, Guadalupe Tijerina was trapped in her vehicle and required extraction. When responders extracted her, they airlifted her to a hospital with serious injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the truck came to rest on its wheels and its two occupants suffered minor injuries.
 
CHP officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
