Gor Akopyan ID’d as Fatal Victim in Angeles Crest Highway Motorcycle Accident at Gould Mesa
LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA (January 23, 2020)—Officials have identified the man who died in Sunday’s motorcycle collision on Angeles Crest Highway at Gould Mesa.
According to reports, Gor Akopyan succumbed to his injuries at Huntington Hospital around 9:37 a.m., just minutes after the devastating crash.
According to Sheriff’s Lt. Chad Smeltzer, the 35-year-old’s motorcycle collided with a vehicle that had been traveling along Gould Mesa as he rode north along Angeles Crest Highway.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators, who ruled out impairment.
However, the preceding events of the 9:08 a.m. crash remain unknown at this time but officials plan to investigate further.
