GLENDALE, CA (December 20, 2018) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by an Amtrak train Wednesday night near Highland Avenue and San Fernando Road.
 
The fatal incident unfolded at approximately 7:40 p.m., according to the Glendale Police Department. The victim, whose name was not released, was hit by Amtrak train 785, according to Metrolink. The crash disrupted the Antelope Valley and Ventura county lines.
