Gilberto Suasteguijaimes Injured in Highway 12 Hit-and-Run Crash [Sonoma County, CA]

Gilberto Suasteguijaimes and Ruci Salato Hospitalized in Highway 12 Crash

 
Sonoma County, CA (June 27, 2021) – On Thursday, 43-year-old Lyft driver Gilberto Suasteguijaimes of El Verano, and his passenger, 30-year-old Ruci Salato of Sebastopol, were injured in Highway 12 hit-and-run crash.
 
The accident happened at 10:42 P.M.
 
Officers said Suasteguijaimes was westbound in a 2021 Toyota Prius on Highway 12 when a westbound gray Acura sedan rear-ended his vehicle.
 
As a result, both vehicles incurred major damage in the accident, while the Acura fled south on Llano Road.
 
Immediately, responders took Suasteguijaimes and Salato to a hospital with minor injuries.
