Sherman Oaks, CA (July 21, 2023) On Thursday morning, an auto-pedestrian accident on 405 Freeway left Gary Mullarney, 45, dead.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the deadly pedestrian collision happened around 7:15 a.m. on the San Diego Freeway near Ventura Boulevard.

Reports say that a vehicle fatally struck an unidentified person in the Sherman Oaks area.

Authorities blocked 2 northbound lanes along with the Ventura Boulevard offramp.
