Gankuyag Nyamdorj Detained Following Deadly Pedestrian Collision on North Vermont Avenue Near Santa Monica Boulevard
HOLLYWOOD, CA (January 3, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a DUI driver Monday morning on North Vermont Avenue near Santa Monica Boulevard.
The incident happened around 2:28 a.m. on North Vermont Avenue near Santa Monica Boulevard. The unidentified victim was described as a man in his 30s who was struck by a 2017 Lexus RX 350, driven by Gankuyag Nyamdorj.
Nyamdorj was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while impaired.
