Man Dies in Fresno Bicycle Collision
FRESNO, CA (December 18, 2018) – A 60-year-old man riding a bicycle died Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle at West Olive Avenue and North Golden State Boulevard.
According to news reports, the 60-year-old man was riding his bicycle near the intersection around 5:30 p.m. when he was hit by the motorist. He was subsequently brought to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle involved informed officers that the bicyclist had failed to stop at the light and crossed through the crosswalk as the vehicle proceeded through the intersection.
