Person Killed, Another Injured Following Collision Into Home in Fremont
FREMONT, CA (December 6, 2018) – One person was killed and another was injured after a vehicle drove into the side of a home at Chaucer Drive and Torrington Court Tuesday night.
The incident stemmed from a shooting at 11:18 p.m. in the 34000 block of Torrington Court.
Arriving officers found a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds in the passenger seat of the car, which reportedly crashed into the side of a home at the corner of Chaucer Drive and Torrington Court. The passenger was pronounced deceased at 11:35 p.m.
Witnesses also reported seeing a second male fleeing from the scene, yet he was located nearby around 11:50 p.m. He had suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and from gunshot wounds.
Authorities later determined that the second male was the driver of the car. However, no arrests were made but authorities are diving into this case further to determine what had happened initially.
