Fozieh Shirdelhefzabad Struck and Killed on Highway 99 in Lynnwood

Lynnwood, WA (December 23, 2020) – On December 2, 72-year-old Fozieh Shirdelhefzabad of Lynnwood died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 99.

Shirdelhefzabad was struck by an SUV while walking in the 17400 block area.

Rescuers immediately took her to a local hospital. However, she died on Thursday due to blunt-force injuries.

On the other hand, the suspect driver allegedly fled the scene after the incident.

Moments later, the suspect returned and was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence.
