Man Struck and Injured by Driver in Fontana

FONTANA, CA (November 21, 2018) – A 20-year-old pedestrian was critically injured Thursday morning after being struck by a vehicle on Elm Avenue near Fontana Avenue.

The incident happened when the 20-year-old Bloomington man was crossing Elm Avenue and was struck by a northbound Toyota Camry. The victim sustained major head trauma and was immediately brought to a hospital in critical condition.

The 25-year-old Rancho Cucamonga resident who was operating the Toyota remained at the scene and was cooperative with police investigations.

No other information regarding this crash was available but authorities are continuing their examination of this crash.
