Flor Zurita Injured, Curtis Hardin Involved in Pedestrian Accident at Santa Rosa and Bellevue Avenues

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (January 15, 2019) – A 34-year-old woman was seriously injured in a pedestrian crash Monday morning at Santa Rosa and Belleview avenues.
 
Flor Valle Zurita was said to be walking westbound in a marked crosswalk at Santa Rosa and Belleview avenues around 7 a.m. The 34-year-old was hit by a Toyota Prius, driven by 60-year-old Curtis Hardin, who reportedly did not see the woman until it was too late. Hardin tried swerving but ended up striking Zurita, causing her injuries.
 
According to a report, it was dark at the time of the crash, but the ultimate cause is under investigation.
