1 Person Hurt in El Monte Auto Accident on 10 Freeway near Santa Anita Avenue
EL MONTE, CA (February 18, 2024) – Saturday morning, a fiery two-vehicle crash on 10 Freeway near Santa Anita Avenue injured one person.
The incident happened at around 5:05 a.m. on the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway, west of Santa Anita Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved a semi-truck and a blue sedan.
Moreover, firefighters extricated and rushed one occupant of the sedan to Greater El Monte Community Hospital with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, the crash closed two right lanes of the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway, near the Santa Anita Avenue exit.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
