75-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Crash on Marin Avenue in Berkeley

 
Berkeley, CA (December 2, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, a 75-year-old woman sustained injuries in a crash on Marin Avenue.
 
The auto-pedestrian crash in Berkeley happened on December 1 at the crosswalk of Marin Avenue.
 
Berkeley Police said the victim was crossing Marin at Euclid Avenue when the driver, came down the hill, struck her in the crosswalk just past the intersection.
 
EMS took the woman to Highland Hospital, the regional trauma center, for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the Ford SUV driver, a 26-year-old Berkeley woman remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
 
No other information is immediately available.
 
Further investigation into this crash is underway.
