Police Search the Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Klamath Drive and Iroquois Road in Orange County
Orange County, CA (July 1, 2022) – Thursday morning, a 31-year-old woman sustained severe injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Klamath Drive and Iroquois Road.
The fatal crash in Orange County happened on June 30.
Police said the SUV hit the woman and continued through the residential neighborhood.
A security camera video showed the woman making a desperate attempt to outrun the SUV as it became clear the driver wasn’t slowing down in the Orange County community of Westminster.
Reportedly, the woman was walking her three dogs when the incident happened.
Her boyfriend said she is expected to survive.
Police are still searching for the SUV and described it as a newer model silver Ford Explorer with custom rims.
Further investigation is ongoing.
