FELTON, CA – Pedestrian Struck and Killed on Highway 9

Man Dies After Driver Strikes Pedestrian near Graham Hill Road

 
FELTON, CA (February 25, 2019) – Thursday afternoon, an unidentified man was struck and killed on Highway 9 near Graham Hill Road.
 
The incident unfolded around 5:00 p.m., when authorities began receiving dispatch calls about a serious pedestrian accident in the area. The pedestrian was allegedly walking south on Highway 9, when a southbound 2000 Toyota 4 Runner struck him.
 
Due to the impact of the collision, the male pedestrian was consequently killed.
 
Although his name has not been released, coroners identified the deceased victim as a 22-year-old Ben Lomond man. Furthermore, the driver stayed on scene and cooperated with police questioning.
 
It is currently unclear why the pedestrian was walking along the highway at the time of the accident. Finally, there has been no update as to whether or not drugs and alcohol played a factor in the incident.
