White Pickup Involved in Fatal Collision on Magazine Street On-Ramp

Vallejo, CA (May 15, 2022) On Sunday, a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 80 caused a fatality on the highway.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that the fatal collision happened at around 12:33 a.m. south of the Magazine Street on-ramp.

Moreover, the collision closed the westbound lanes of the highway for 2 hours.

Additionally, reports say that a white pickup truck left its license plate at the crash site.

Afterward, authorities searched for the pickup and found it in Vacaville.

The CHP is investigating the incident and has not released further information at this time.
