Deadly Bakersfield Auto Accident on Highway 178 and Mouth of the Canyon

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 14, 2022) – Monday afternoon, a two-car crash on Highway 178 and Mouth of the Canyon led to a fatality.
 
The crash happened at about 12:55 p.m. on Highway 178, east of Mouth of the Canyon.
 
According to reports, the crash led to fatal injuries. Also, the incident shut down both directions of Highway 178 but has since reopened.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
