Fatal Two-Car Accident on Air Expressway Near George Boulevard [Victorville, CA]

1 Dead in Victorville Two-Car Collision

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (April 2, 2019) – A fatal two-car accident on Air Expressway near George Boulevard Saturday night left drivers facing a road closure.
 
The deadly car accident took place around 11:10 p.m. in front of the prison.
 
According to a traffic scanner, the California Highway Patrol arrived within five minutes of the call. Upon arriving, units pronounced one person dead and a second needing possible extrication.
 
Soon after, firefighters with the Victorville City Fire Department arrived and located two cars with major damage. The second patient suffered non-life-threatening injuries and required no extrication despite reports. Subsequently, medics transported the patient to a nearby hospital.
 
Following the incident, Air Expressway was shut down due to investigations.
