Unidentified Person Killed in Tacoma Train Crash near Hidden Beach Road

 
TACOMA, WA (April 30, 2020) – Tuesday night, a fatal pedestrian train accident occurred near Hidden Beach Road at Titlow Beach in Tacoma.
 
The devastating incident occurred on April 28 around 10:00 p.m. near Hidden Beach Road. Gus Melonas with Burlington Northern Santa Fe revealed that an empty northbound grain train struck and killed a man.
 
When the authorities arrived at the crash scene, they declared the pedestrian deceased at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the detectives are still trying to determine the reason why the man was located on the tracks before the crash. Melonas also added that the incident was the seventh deadly accident involving a pedestrian and train in Tacoma for this year.
 
Due to limited information, the circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear. Once available, additional details about the incident will be released the to public.
