2 People Dead in Spring Branch Helicopter Accident on 600 Lantana Ridge

SPRING BRANCH, TX (April 30, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a fatal helicopter crash on 600 Lantana Ridge Killed two people.

The incident happened at around 3:15 p.m. in the 600 block of Lantana Ridge.

According to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office, the incident involved a Hummingbird 260L experimental amateur-built helicopter.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that two people died in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Federal Aviation Administration and the Texas Department of Public Safety continued to investigate the crash.
