Lanes Blocked in Palo Alto Auto Accident on Embarcadero Road near Walnut Drive

PALO ALTO, CA (February 21, 2024) – Monday night, authorities closed Embarcadero Road following a fatal crash near Walnut Drive.

The incident happened on Embarcadero Road, between Middlefield Drive and Walnut Drive.

PAPD posted the report on X at around 10:25 p.m.

Officers closed Embarcadero Road, between Middlefield Drive and Walnut Drive, to give way to the investigation and clean-up operation.

Also, authorities ask everyone to avoid the area and to find alternate routes.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the PAPD continued to investigate the crash.
