Fallbrook Resident Dies in Vehicle Crash on South Mission Road [Fallbrook, CA]

Fallbrook, CA (December 24, 2021) – On Thursday, a 19-year-old Fallbrook resident died in a vehicle crash on South Mission Road.

Officers said two drivers were southbound side-by-side north of Stage Coach Lane.

Suddenly, the 19-year-old man driving in the fast lane veered left and his Subaru BRZ coupe crashed with trees.

He died before he could be taken to a hospital.

Moreover, the other vehicle, a Subaru Outback in the No. 2 lane driven by an 18-year-old Vista man collided with debris from the accident. The authorities arrested him on suspicion of reckless driving.

Meanwhile, the authorities are still investigating this fatal collision. Officers do not believe alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
