38-Year-Old Everett Gilbert Dies in 610 West Loop Hit-and-Run Crash [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (Aug. 11, 2023) – On Monday, 38-year-old Everett Gilbert sustained fatal injuries in a 610 West Loop hit-and-run crash.

It was about 1:35 a.m. when Everett was struck by a car while walking on the freeway near Brookhaven.

He was transported to the hospital where doctors took off one of his legs. However, after multiple blood transfusions, Everett succumbed to his injuries the next day.
