Esteban Galindo Hit, Killed by Motorist While Riding Scooter on Third Avenue Near Quintard Street

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (December 26, 2018) – A 26-year-old man riding a motorized scooter Sunday morning was fatally struck by a driver on Third Avenue near Quintard Street.
 
The deadly crash happened around 4 a.m., according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office. Esteban Antonio Ramon Galindo was identified as the 26-year-old victim who died at UC San Diego Medical Center.
 
The driver who struck Galindo stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators, who later determined that impairment did not play a role.
 
The details leading to the incident are still under investigation by authorities.
