Ernest Jordan Dead after Los Angeles Tragic Car Accident on West Pico Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 2, 2019) – A father of two identified as Ernest Jordan died in a car crash in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 29.
The collision happened in the 8900 block of West Pico Boulevard just before 6 a.m., officials stated. A witness described seeing a black Infinity lose control and crash into a vacant building in the area.
Los Angeles Fire Department said that paramedics pronounced Jordan dead at the scene. Nearby residents tried to render aid but it was too late.
Witnesses told police they heard what sounded like a street race or possibly a road rage incident before the crash.
The family said Jordan worked as an executive chef at a hotel in Beverly Hills. William Jordan, his father, said that he was on his way to work. That’s the only reason he was out there, he added.
The victim’s family stated that he was a hardworking father of two girls, and always positive.
Police are still looking for more witnesses.
