Elpidio Arroyo Jr. Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident at Stoddard Wells OHV Area Along Outlet Center Drive
BARSTOW, CA (May 29, 2019) – A 37-year-old man died in Saturday’s off-road solo-car collision at the Stoddard Wells OHV Area along Outlet Center Drive.
According to news reports, the California Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle accident report at 1:15 a.m.
Paramedics arrived shortly after and transported Elpidio Jacob Arroyo Jr., of Bellflower, to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. However, in spite of life-saving efforts during a 4:50 a.m. emergency operation, Arroyo succumbed to his injuries.
It’s unclear at this point what the cause may be, but the CHP is investigating this case further.
