Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck by Driver in Santa Paula

 
SANTA PAULA, CA (May 13, 2019) – A woman suffered serious injuries in Saturday’s pedestrian accident at East Main and Davis streets.
 
According to Santa Paula police, a 27-year-old driver struck the 92-year-old woman around 11:40 a.m. Officers arrived to find the Ventura County Fire Department personnel tending to the elderly victim.
 
Paramedics subsequently transported her to Ventura County Medical Center due to the severity of her injuries. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
